Free LEGO Bike Burger Cart event coming this week

The first LEGO make-and-take event of 2026 has been spotted at the Southampton LEGO store, but it will likely be coming to all UK stores.

The LEGO Group frequently hosts make-and-take events at their official stores, where guests can build and take home a free LEGO model on a first-come, first-served basis. Throughout 2025, everything from DREAMZzz to Architecture received a tie-in make-and-take model, and it looks like 2026 will start with a free LEGO City model.

Legodealsmad on HotUKDeals has spotted an advert outside the Southampton LEGO store advertising a free Bike Burger Cart event for this weekend. The event will be held at the Southampton store for two hours from 10am on January 10 and from 12pm on January 11.

The cart creation looks simple enough to recreate at home, though free LEGO elements are going to be hard to pass up. The events held in 2025 happened in almost every UK LEGO store on the same day, but the dates varied in other regions. It seems likely that this will be the case in 2026, though we cannot see an event page for this model on LEGO.com at the time of writing.

The set will pair great with 60488 Fries Food Truck, which was released just a few days ago. For now, you might want to plan a trip to your local LEGO store this weekend just in case, but keep in mind that the model will almost certainly only be available while stocks last, and limited to one copy per person.
