It's launch day for hundreds of new LEGO sets, and plenty are already running out of stock or are on back order worldwide, from NINJAGO to Icons.
Alongside a quartet of gifts-with-purchase, you can now pick up the brand-new LEGO 2026 sets that were launched earlier today, January 1. While many are still available, a selection has been exceedingly popular around the world, and they're already either temporarily out of stock or on back order for anywhere between a week and two months.
Read on for a rundown of what is currently on back order in the UK, the US and Europe, just hours after these new sets were released.
LEGO January 2026 sets out of stock in the UK
Minecraft appears to be popular in the UK, with three of the theme's new sets temporarily out of stock. This includes 21584 Nether & End Portal Journey, 21585 Chicken Farm and 21586 The Pale Garden. Each of these models was praised in our earlier review, similar to the other set that is out of stock in the region.
LEGO Marvel 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman is proving to be a hit around the world and is currently out of stock in the UK. It's not gone for good, though and will be back in stock eventually.
LEGO January 2026 sets out of stock in Europe
As well as the four sets in the UK, Europe's selection of 2026 sets that are out of stock can vary by region, but typically includes both 43285 Ariel's Magical Mini Palace and 76460 Hogwarts Castle: Sorting Hat Ceremony. The new LEGO Harry Potter set is one of the most affordable for the anniversary, including a rare Patronus element to boot.
LEGO January 2026 sets on back order
When looking at the new LEGO sets that are on back order worldwide, the list is vast, but we can at least go over the highlights. NINJAGO's new 71866 Ninja Character Display and 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith are off to a good start as the theme officially turns 15 years old. Both are on back order.
31218 Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape and 21589 Mini Biomes are also on back order, proving that there's certainly still a place for displayable LEGO models, no matter the subject matter. It's not too surprising to see that 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future has entered back order, too, given that it has been popular with fans following its reveal last year.
11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House is already one of the most popular LEGO 2026 sets, currently on a two-month back order period. It's still available to order now for £249.99 / $299.99 / €279.99, and the tie-in 40891 Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station gift-with-purchase has not yet sold out for good either.
11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House is currently only available to LEGO Insiders alongside the series finale of Stranger Things, launching widely on January 4, 2026. Whether 40891 Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station will be available long enough for non-Insiders to score it is unclear.
