LEGO Fortnite adds limited-time quests before Star Wars season

Ahead of a major Star Wars season and an unusual LEGO connection for Fortnite next month, LEGO Fortnite has new additions launching soon.

All eyes are undoubtedly on the main Fortnite Battle Royale mode following the announcement of a Star Wars season starting May 2, but don't count LEGO Fortnite out completely as new updates are just a day away.

Both LEGO Fortnite Brick Life and LEGO Fortnite Odyssey are receiving notable updates tomorrow, the Fortnite team have announced, including limited-time quests that disappear just after Star Wars Day.

LEGO Fortnite Brick Life

For those playing LEGO Fortnite Brick Life, fishing is being added, and any creatures you catch can be displayed in your home in the new aquarium. They can alternatively be cooked, sold or mounted on your walls. Cooking is coming to LEGO Fortnite Brick Life, too, through ingredients, cooking equipment and new meals to eat while exploring the city.

Rounding out the additions to LEGO Fortnite Brick Life are promotions at Durrr Burger and RoboRoll Sushi with new rewards as you work your way up the ranks of each job, including furniture. The aquarium is the most interesting addition, and will hopefully add some much-needed life to player homes. Everything will be added to Brick Life tomorrow.

LEGO Fortnite Odyssey

Over in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, the focus is on Oro, the star of the current Goldrush Gallery LEGO Pass. The character is the focus of new limited-time quests coming to LEGO Fortnite from April 22 until May 5.

Complete these three quests by finding and looting chests found and guarded throughout the world will reward you with new chest recipes to spice up your storage room. Nothing related to Star Wars has been announced for LEGO Fortnite Odyssey yet, though the existing Star Wars content is still available. The end date for these Oro quests line up oddly well with the end of the May the 4th celebrations, though.
