LEGO Ideas community cooks up another Ratatouille submission

The LEGO Ideas community have rushed another Ratatouille project to 10,000 supporters, this time relying on a familiar concept.

Ratatouille projects have been consistently popular, but rejected on LEGO Ideas, and cover everything from the restaurant building to BrickHeadz. The former concept is back in play thanks to BRICKS-SGE. Their first submission to reach 10,000 supporters is based on the restaurant from the animated Disney Pixar movie.

Gusteau's has been recreated on a 48 x 28 stud surface and uses 2,999 pieces. It comes with a fountain and distinct architectural details on the exterior, as well as the curved glass roof covering the kitchen. Inside the building is the kitchen, connected accurately to the dining room, as well as Linguini's apartment. The apartment was not above the restaurant in the movie, but this is arguably the best and most cohesive way to include it.

Five minifigures are proposed, including Linguini, Colette, Ego, Skinner, as well as a blue recolour of the 2018 Rat / Mouse element for Remy. It would be easy to convert the model to something that would fit into a modular street.

It has reached the third 2025 review and is the 55th build being considered for a set as part of the round. Here's a reminder of everything currently in consideratino as we near the end of 2025.
