The update to the LEGO NINJAGO page of LEGO.com has confirmed the identities of six anniversary minifigures, as well as teasing the last one.
The LEGO Group has kicked off NINJAGO's 15th anniversary with an update to the theme's official section of the online store, including a preview of projects to come. Also featured on this page is a section devoted to the anniversary minifigures that will be scattered across sets throughout the year, but most of them are available now.
The page reveals the identities and names of those already available, Benton, Libber, Young Wu and Garmadon, as well as the First Spinjitzu Master. A short description for each is also available, confirming some important NINJAGO plot details.
The page stops just shy of Hibernus, the former Master of Ice who appears in
LEGO NINJAGO's 15th anniversary sets have been focusing on the original Elemental Alliance so far, covering most of its members in the January wave. This alliance is the team of characters who fought in the Serpentine War before the events of the animated series. This includes Ray, Maya, Acronix and Krux.
In fact, there are only four members of the Elemental Alliance not covered in the sets, and only one has a similar enough hair piece to the teased silhouette. Though Dusk's original hair part has been retired, the element seen in the silhouette would be a better stand-in than it would be for the fez, helmet or parted hair that the other three missing Elemental Alliance characters feature.
This is only speculation on our part, but based on the official information provided by the LEGO Group, the final anniversary minifigure looks likely to be one of the characters above. While we wait for the final minifigure to be revealed, here's a guide to the anniversary figures as they stand so far.
