The LEGO Spider-Verse minifigures from the movie we didn’t get

The LEGO Spider-Verse minifigures from the movie we didn’t get

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse dropped dozens of variants, leaving us spoilt for choice in options for the LEGO CMF series.

There are few, if any, misses in 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, picking out some of the best and most unique characters from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. However, with the movie bringing dozens of Spider-People onto the big screen, there's certainly more potential fodder for minifigures that we've not seen yet.

In fact, there's enough to almost populate a whole other set of collectible minifigures. We've picked out 11 more Spider-Verse characters below, some that are more likely to show up in minifigure form than others.

11 – Scarlet Spider

Scarlet Spider 1024x429

Scarlet Spider, as voiced by Andy Samberg, is one of the more prominent Spider-People to go after Miles. His unique look, wearing a cut-off blue hoody over the red Spider-Suit, would certainly make for a fun look, perhaps via a neck piece for extra depth, or simply through torso printing.

While he plays a more central role, he's not quite as attention-grabbing as some of the minor Spider-People and not as prominent as Peter B. Parker, for example, which is proabbly why Scarlet Spider got left off the final line-up.

10 – Bag-Man

Bag Man

We'll be honest, we just want Bag-Man for that head element. He's a Spider-Man who finds himself without a suit, needing to resort to a paper bag to hide his identity, so it would be a simply minifigure to make. We just need that paper bag hat.

9 – Spider-Cop

Spider Cop 1024x485

Spider-Cop is another quick laugh, but one that would pay off in a minifigure. Where Spider-Man fights crime, Spider-Cop directs traffic and writes up criminals for their antics. The dad bod and polo shirt combination would be a nice twist on the various superhero suits.

8 – Spinneret

Spinneret

Seen just behind Spider-Cop, Spinneret is Mary Jane Watson if she took on spider powers, complete with an inverted version of Peter's suit in lighter colours. While Gwen Stacey appears in 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, we don't see MJ represented at all, so it would be fun to see this multiversal version of her.

7 – Spiderling

Spiderling

In the same vein, Spinneret is seen alongside Spiderling. Annie Parker, daughter of Peter and MJ, develops her own spidey powers inherited from her father. Her suit in Across the Spider-Verse includes turquoise elements, blending the colour schemes of Peter's traditional red and blue, and MJ's more pastel version.

Whether Spiderling and Spinneret could appear together, much like Peter B. Parker and Mayday, or as a duo to collect, it would be a fun addition to the line-up. Due to the brevity of their time in the movie, however, we can see why the LEGO Group went in another direction.

6 – Metro Spider-Man

Metro Boomin

If the LEGO Group could invent an even tinier sound brick, then Metro Spider-Man would be a must-have. He's an animated cameo of DJ Metro Boomin, who was involved in the soundtrack of the movie. Not only is his black and white look something different from much of the rest of the crowd, but having a minifigure who could play a section of the iconic soundtrack would be an extra fun addition – even if it's technically impossible right now.

5 – Superior Spider-Man

Superior Spider Man

Superior Spider-Man is not one of the variants who chases after Miles, but rather another one that has been locked up by the Spider-Society. You see a brief glimpse of him and his robot arms, present due to the fact that he's a blend of Spider-Man and Otto Octavius. That means he has the extra robotic limbs, adding to his powers – and making for a very cool potential minifigure.

4 – Future Foundation Spider-Man

Future Foundation Spider Man

In the comics, the Future Foundation Spidey was part of the Fantastic Four, giving him this incredibly cool suit. The white design helps him stand out briefly when leaping for Miles in the movie and, although his brief appearance is probably why he was left out of this series, we'd love to see a LEGO-fied take on this sleek look.

3 – Spider-Rex

Spider Rex

Spider-Rex gets very close to chomping on Miles and bringing the movie to a screeching halt and, let's be honest, who doesn't want to see a LEGO-fied dinosaur? Whether using recoloured or printed elements from LEGO Jurassic World or new ones, this would be a stand-up addition to a Spider-Verse minifigure line-up.

2 – Peni Parker & SP//dr

Peni Parker 1024x429

Peni Parker leaves her return to the Spider-Verse movies until the last minute, but her unique appearance and the fact that she fights alongside a robot controlled by a spider means we desperately need her in LEGO form. You might need a fair few pieces to render SP//dr authentically, but considering Peni herself would be smaller than the average minifigure, we reckon it could be made to work.

1 – Jessica Drew

Jessica Drew

While some of the characters on this list feel like shots in the dark or understandable exclusions from 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Jessica Drew feels like one that really should have made it in. She plays a prominent role, she's one of the most memorable characters in the movie, and her look, pregnant belly and all, would make for an excellent addition to minifigure accessories.

That said, we're not sure who we would switch out from 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to make room for Jessica. The series, as we noted above, is a slam dunk.
