There's particularly strong excitement for the way the game mechanics and effects have been recreated in the set, including the fact that Link can comfortably somersault through Ganon's legs. We went over many of the other mechanics recreated in the set in our recent comparison.
As PenPlays points out, the designer behind the upcoming set is the same as one of the first fan designs proposed for a LEGO The Legend of Zelda set over 10 years ago, noting that you should always follow your dreams. That's an interesting use of language, considering that
While there's plenty of excitement for the second full LEGO The Legend of Zelda set, many on Facebook, Instagram, X and Reddit have shared some concerns over various aspects of the set, including comments that the overall profile of the build is underwhelming.

Other price-discussing comments on both the LEGO and The Legend of Zelda subreddits aren't quite as worried about the cost, comparing it to the Pokémon models revealed earlier this week. Some can't help but turn their gaze towards the hopeful future of this partnership, too.
"Why is it so difficult to just make an intricate Hyrule Castle?" queried Blue_Gamer18. "That's all I'm asking for, and it's something I'd very much consider buying, even at LEGO prices."
