A LEGO Star Wars fan has shared images of a torso fix for 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship's Fox – less than half a year before its retirement.
Since its launch on September 1, 2023, there have been criticisms raised about the printing on Commander Fox's torso in LEGO Star Wars 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship. It's a common issue when lighter details are printed on a dark background; in this case, white armour on top of a red torso.
Over time, the LEGO Group has clearly been working on ways to reduce the impact of the issues. The canopy on 2025's 75401 Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor is an example of clearer, more full-bodied colours on the printing, without bleeding between the red and the white.
Whatever has changed in the printing won't help 2023's Commander Fox, however, with the set retiring at the end of the year – or will it? Redditor Actual_Series_8140 has shared images of a Commander Fox minifigure from 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship bought more recently that has white printing. When compared to the pinkish printing of previously released minifigures, there's a substantial difference.
Another person in the comments who had just bought a copy of the set also reported that the torso was white. It seems that the LEGO Group is rolling out a fix on the Commander Fox print, just a few months short of 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship's retirement at the end of 2025. It's worth remembering that popular sets can sell out even sooner than that, so time is getting short on the LEGO Star Wars set.
Brick Fanatics has requested a replacement torso from the LEGO Group to see if we get an updated one with the modern white printing and will report back if that's a way to get the new and improved minifigure version.
