LEGO Voyagers video game release date announced

Light Brick Studio has announced the release date for LEGO Voyagers, the follow-up video game to LEGO Builder's Journey.

Originally announced back in June, LEGO Voyagers is the sequel to LEGO Builder's Journey and the second game from the LEGO Group’s in-house video game development team at Light Brick Studio, which has since become an independent entity. The co-op adventure, set to be published by Annapurna Interactive on September 15, features the same ambient graphics and much of the same gameplay mechanics.

The game follows two bricks that are friends with one another, characterised by eyes on the front of the 1x1 brick. They find themselves on an abandoned space station and decide to rescue it, setting them on course for various level-based adventures.

Although pre-orders are not yet open for LEGO Voyagers, you can add it to your Steam wishlist already. It will be available to play on PlayStation platforms, Xbox platforms, Nintendo Switch platforms, and PCs. In line with its two-player focus, the game will also include a ‘Friend Pass’ that allows one person to share their copy of the game with someone else. A full trailer has now been published via IGN, which you can watch in full via the embedded video below.
