Scan LEGO animal minifigures with Brick Search now

12 new LEGO animal minifigures are now available, and you can find them all with the help of the Brick Search app's minifigure box scanner.

It's launch day for the new series of LEGO minifigures, 71051 Series 28 Animals, which continues the LEGO Group's popular animal costumes in a series dedicated entirely to them. There are 12 new costumed characters to collect, covering a wide variety of animals. These are the 12 minifigures that make up LEGO Minifigures 71051 Series 28 Animals, pictured from left to right:

• Peacock Costume
• Dalmatian Costume
• Bunny Costume
• Fluffy Cat Costume
• Dolphin Costume
• Koala Costume
• Frog Costume
• Parrot Costume
• Crocodile Costume
• Goldfish Costume
• Monkey Costume
• Lion Costume

Each minifigure can be found in a box of 71051 Series 28 Animals, but the LEGO Group has long since abandoned the blind bag concept in favour of a blind box concept. While this has removed the ability to feel the contents of the bag, scannable codes have been added to the bottom of the boxes that arguably make it easier to identify specific minifigures, as long as you have the right tool.

That tool would be the Brick Search app's minifigure scanner. Just scan the code (not the barcode) on the bottom of each box with your device's camera when using the app to find the 71051 Series 28 Animals minifigures you want before they retire later this year.
