See LEGO Star Wars 75416 Chopper alongside fellow brick-built droids

LEGO Star Wars 75416 Chopper (C1-10P) is the latest in a long line of brick-built droids – but how does it look next to its contemporaries?

75416 Chopper (C1-10P) is due for release on May 1 (and available to pre-order now), becoming the fourth brick-built droid to be on shelves at the moment. It joins 75379 R2-D2, 75398 C-3PO, and 75381 Droideka, and will soon be joined by 75434 K-2SO in August.

The most immediate comparison to draw is between 75416 Chopper (C1-10P) and 75379 R2-D2 but many people are sure to want to display multiple droids side by side, primarily the key characters of Artoo, Threepio, and Chop.

Thanks to Brickset's review, you can already get a taste for how this will look, with all three LEGO droids displayed side by side.

Chop is slightly shorter than Artoo, in line with how the two astromechs shape up beside one another on screen, as in this scene from Rebels, pictured below. You can also see the differences in style between the two astromechs, with Chop's wider feet and extra appendages being some of the most notable differences.

75416 Chopper (C1-10P) is available to pre-order now for £94.99 / $99.99 / €109.99, while 75379 R2-D2, 75398 C-3PO, and 75381 Droideka are all still available to buy from LEGO.com.
