Two of last year’s best LEGO Star Wars and Marvel sets are now retiring in 2025

Two of last year’s best LEGO Star Wars and Marvel sets are now scheduled to retire by the end of 2025, a year earlier than originally planned.

At the start of the year, 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV and 76286 Guardians of the Galaxy: The Milano were both destined to stay into production until at least the end of 2026 – but the best laid plans are always subject to change, and so it goes with both of these 2024 releases, which will now retire by the end of 2025 (pending any further shuffling of the pack).

That means you’ve got around nine months or so to grab them, and if you’re interested in either of these themes you’re going to want to bump them up your wishlist. LEGO Marvel is having a tough time of things at the moment, but 76286 Guardians of the Galaxy: The Milano is a real bright spot in the portfolio right now, accurately recreating one of the Infinity Saga’s most iconic vehicles at near-UCS scale.

75387 Boarding the Tantive IV, meanwhile, represents the one and only time LEGO Star Wars has adapted the opening scene of A New Hope in minifigure-scale – and also includes a unique 25th-anniversary minifigure of ARC Trooper Fives. It’s a compulsory purchase if you’re hunting a complete collection of 25th-anniversary minifigures, but is also a fine playset and display model in its own right.

Both of these LEGO Star Wars and Marvel sets are available now at LEGO.com and through third-party retailers. Find out where they fit into the wider picture by heading over to our regularly-updated retiring LEGO sets page.
